Nickelback purists will remember that while this is the first time the band will have headlined Red Rocks, they have played the venue before as a part of 2004’s Coor’s Light Mountain Jam. Nickelback, the band literally named after change leftover from a coffee order at Starbucks, will play Red Rocks as a part of a new 44-city tour in support of its ninth studio album, “Feed the Machine.” (No word on what kind of coffee the machine in question dispenses.)
